School Uniform

School Uniform

All children are strongly encouraged to wear school uniform to identify themselves as part of our wider caring community and to dress in a manner which is suitable for the work they do in school.

The school uniform is as follows:

Winter Uniform (to be worn from September)

  • Smart Black Shoes (not trainers or boots).
  • Plain Grey, Black white or Navy Socks at ankle or knee length.
  • Plain Grey Tights.
  • Grey Trousers, Skirt or Pinafore at knee length. Optional tartan skirt or pinafore.
  • Pale Blue Shirt or blouse.
  • School Tie Year 1-6 only (purchased from school / Lollipops).
  • Navy Blue Branded Jumper (from Lollipops).
  • Navy Blue Branded Cardigan (from Lollipops).

Optional Summer Uniform (which can be worn in the Summer Term)

  • Smart Black Shoes (not trainers, boots or sandals).
  • Grey Shorts.
  • Light Blue and White checked dress (gingham) with option of wearing white socks.
  • Pale Blue Short sleeved shirt and tie.
  • Pale Blue Branded Polo Shirt (Lollipops).

PE Kit (Years 1-6 only)

Children are required to bring their PE kit to school in a suitable bag on the days they have PE. They will change into their PE kit at school before their lesson and change back into their school uniform afterwards. Please ensure that you appropriately label the PE kit which consists of the following:

  • Navy Blue School Branded Tracksuit or plain Navy blue tracksuit (branded available from Lollipops).
  • Navy Blue Branded Hoodie (from Lollipops).
  • Plain blue PE top (from Lollipops).
  • If warm option to wear Navy blue shorts at knee length.
  • Plain white, grey socks.
  • Plain black trainers.

Jewellery

Jewellery should not be worn or brought into school with the exception of a wrist watch.

Earrings should not be worn. We encourage ears to be pierced at the start of the Six Week Holidays in order for the ‘settling’ period to happen during that time. Therefore, earrings can be taken out at the beginning of the School Year.

Make up and nail varnish should not be worn to school.

Foundation Stage Uniform (Reception and Nursery)

The children in Foundation stage learn by physically active play and are asked to wear clothing which is suitable for this. All children are asked to wear navy blue jogging bottoms (shorts in Summer), a navy blue sweatshirt, a pale blue polo shirt and sensible shoes for outdoor play.

All these clothes can be bought via Lollipops.

The branded uniform is available from Lollipops. Order forms can be collected from the school office.

And finally, the Edward Hood Award. This trophy is in memory of one of our school’s very first governors. A remarkable man who helped to establish our amazing school. This trophy is awarded to the pupil, who is described as the student of the year of all years. This year we have given it to the most adorable of pupils. He is so gentle, humble and considerate. We wish him so much luck and know that he will continue to make the world a better place! 💙🕊️#loveoneanotherasihavelovedyou #PACE ... See MoreSee Less
